Write Without Reliving
A four-week somatic writing experience for authors, advocates, and storytellers who want to share their truth without retraumatizing themselves.
You've lived the story.
Now learn how to tell it from a regulated nervous system.
January 2027
The Story Behind This Work
In 2014, I published my memoir, Find Your Voice.
It changed my life.
The book launched a speaking career that took me to organizations like HBO, Facebook, Whole Foods, and beyond. I sold out at bookstores and markets, connected with readers around the country, and discovered the incredible power of sharing our stories.
But there was another story unfolding inside me.
Each time I told my story, my body responded as though it were happening all over again.
I didn't know then what I know now:
The nervous system doesn't always distinguish between remembering and reliving.
When we repeatedly revisit traumatic experiences without helping the body feel safe, storytelling can unintentionally become re-traumatizing instead of restorative.
That realization became the foundation for this experience.
Is This Experience for You?
Whether you're writing your first chapter or preparing to share your story with the world, this experience is designed for people who want to tell the truth without leaving their nervous system behind.
-

The Storyteller
You've lived through something that changed you, and you know your story could help others. But every time you sit down to write, the emotions feel overwhelming, or you find yourself avoiding the page altogether. You want to write from a place of clarity and compassion—not survival.
-

The Advocate
Your story has become part of your work. Whether you're speaking, teaching, leading a nonprofit, or advocating for a cause, you want to share your lived experience in a way that serves others without continually reopening your own wounds. You want your voice to feel empowering—not exhausting.
-

The Messenger
You can feel that your story is part of your purpose. Whether you're dreaming of writing a book, starting a podcast, stepping onto a stage, or simply finding the courage to speak your truth, you're ready to move beyond fear and self-protection. You want your nervous system to support your voice—not silence it.

Your story deserves to be told.
You shouldn't have to choose between sharing your truth and protecting your peace.
Your story deserves to be told.
But your nervous system deserves to feel safe while telling it.
Most writing programs teach you how to write. This experience teaches you how to stay connected to yourself while you do.
If you're writing a memoir, preparing to speak publicly, or sharing a story rooted in trauma, grief, illness, or adversity, this four-week experience will help you approach the page from regulation instead of survival.
Created by author, Certified Somatic Practitioner, and Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer survivor Sahar Paz, this experience was born from her own journey. After publishing her memoir, Find Your Voice, Sahar discovered that repeatedly telling her story without supporting her nervous system was reactivating old wounds. Today, she teaches writers how to share their truth in a way that supports healing, protects their well-being, and honors both their voice and their body.
During this four-week experience you'll receive:
Four live 75-minute Zoom sessions featuring somatic movement, guided writing, and compassionate sharing
One private 1:1 coaching session with Sahar
Guided writing prompts rooted in the House of Paz Method
A guest workshop with an Author Publicist
Sahar's guide to booking speaking engagements and sharing your story with confidence
Access to the private Author Circle, where you'll connect with fellow writers between sessions
